1 ' WORK IN THE SOUTH. According to the Agricultural 'Department's "Journal" there are so far just on 3300 cooperative experiment plots to bo conducted on nearly 200 farms in tlio South Island in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture. Tho above figures do not take into account tlio experiments to b? conducted in co-opera-tion with tho Department at the lligh Schools. '
