An expected arrival in port from Auck land to-day is the F. and S. liner Surrey. The vessel left Liverpool on August 24 aud called at/Cape Town, Hobart. and the northern port en route. The Surrey will berth at the Taranaki Street Wharf on arrival. ARAWA, FOR LONDON. Arawa, of the Shaw-Savill fleet, arrived at Wellington from Auckland yesterday. She berthed at the Glasgow Wharf to complete loading Home cargo, and is expected to sail for London on Thursday next. Cantain L. M. Itoy having been appointed marine superintendent for the Melbourne Steamship Company, the following changes of masters have been made:-Captain H. Miller has joined the Dimboola, Captain C. Roy tho Kapunda, Captain J. M'Leod the Monara, Captain S. James the Hobart, Captain. J. Dawson the Sydney, Captain D. Tit'Leod (late of the Melbourne), the Perth; Captain R. M. Heddle, late of tho Briebane, has taken charge of the Melbourne, and Captain M'Donald has joined tho Brisbane. The Union Company's steamor Flora Is scheduled to leave Wellington for New Plymouth, Westport, and Greymouth nt 6 p.m. to-morrow. The Ngahere is due at Wellington from Greymouth next Thursday. Tho naupiri is due at Wellington from Onehunga and New Plymouth to-morrow morning. She sails the samo evening for Picton and Onehunga. Tiie Awahou passed the Heads bound for Blackhead at 8.15 o'clock last night. Reports received in Wellington on Saturday concerning the weather at Greymouth Etated that there was a heavy sea on the bar, and that there wero no prospects of any shipping movements taking place that day.
