The inquest concerning tho death of Edward James Norinnu, at Nonhandale, Lower Hutt, was concluded by Dr. 51'.Arthur on Saturday. At the preliminary infinity, held last Monday, Dr. Hector deposed that when lie was called in Norman was suffering from (shock. On making au examination, witness detected tho presence of "rough-on-rals," and when questioned tho patient admitted having taken the poison. Mrs. Norman, wifo of deceased, said Hint when her husband enmo home they had, "words" and witness was ordered out of the house. A verdict was returned that "Deceased committed suicide by taking rough-on-, rats,* while in a despondent stole of mind." FIRE 'AT PETONE.
