AT ADRIANOPLE.
TURKISH TROOPS RETIRE SOUTH,
RECONNAISSANCE IN FORCE. (Rcc. October 25, 11.25 p.m.) Constantinople, October 25. It is officially explained that three Turkish army corps inado an offensive lnovomont east of the Tunja River, near Adrianoplo, with a view to forcing the Bulgarians to deploy nnd disclose their strength. They were unsuccessful because they encountered tho main Bulgarian Army, which had left a covering forco at Adrianoplo while attempting to work to tho rear nnd mennce the Turkish communications with Constantinople at Mnnkatnr, which an advanced column had attempted to surprise. When the Turks found tho Bulgarian strength they did not persist in the offensive, but retired south. It has now been decided to fall back on Baba Eski and J.ulo Burgas, 35 nnd 10 miles south-east of Adrianoplc, where seven array corps are concentrated.
