Sergeant William Jones, a survivor of tho Balaclava charge, has died at East Dnlwich, London, and was accorded a military funeral at Streatham Park Cemetery. During tho charge he was wounded in the leg by a cannon ball, and received a sword cut on the head. In tho return from tho "Valley of Death" his horse was shot* under him, and ho caught a riderless animal and got back to the British lines.
