Mr. Asquith, the Prime Minister, announced( in the House of Commons that he was considering tho matter of setting up a Royal Commission to inquire regarding economic development and 'improvement of conditions of life in agricultural districts, oh the lines of Mr. Roosevelt's Country Life Commission of 1908.
