JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD.

« A meeting of the Johnsonyille Town Bonrd was held on Tuesday evening, 'Commissioner Moore presiding. Commissioners May, Barker, Angell, Thompson, Lawrence, and Jerusalem were also presenl. The Town Clerk was directed to write to Mr. Merrielee:-, of Tauranga, regarding ihe removal of an old blacksmith's shop at the lower end of Burgess Road, Johnsonville. Commissioners May, Lawrence, aud Barker reported that they had investigated a complaint by Mr. Guilford, regarding an obstruction in the creek, but had found that there was nothing serious enough to justify the board in taking action. Messrs. Crabtree. and Company's tender of .CllO Bs. 9d. for se\ver ventilators was accepted.
