OPENING BY TE'hiWl CLUB, The Tβ Hiwi Club opened its pretty court in Mr. Charles Hill's grounds at Island Bay on Saturday a'fte'rnqon. The ■ performed by the president (Mr. Chas. Hill, senior), and Miss Hill was called upon to throw the jack. At the conclusion of the afternoon's play a ' merry little gathering took ! place in the paviliqn,-when a number of toasts were proposed, including that of "The President," "The Club/' "Tho Visitors," and "Miss Hill." Tho fine condition of the green was the subject of a good deal of i reference. ."
