JUNIOR ASSOCIATION.
NEW CONSTITUTION AND RULES. A meeting of the Wellington , Junior Cricket Association was held at the. Y.It.C.A. last Friday, Mr. K. A. Wright in the chair, to consider the Special Committee's cbal't revision of the constitution, by-laws, and championship rules. With slight -amead-rionts these were approved and finally adopted. The most vital change in the reyised constitution is' the substitution of aii elected committee of management for an assembly of clnb delegates. The new Management Committee was then elected as follows:—Messrs. Ponder, Wrigley, Cowan, Buck, O'Sullivan, Day, and Salmon. It was decided to commence all cup matches on Saturday next, and that in view of the increased ground charges imposed by the City Council, all ground fees would be iaised pro rata, to meet the increated expenditure. Messrs. .1. E. Fitzgerald and Rl A. Wiiglit were appointed trustees of the association. A special vote of thanks was accorded the Rules Revision Committee for their work, and also to tho secretary (Mr. Bennett). The following clubs were affiliated:— Athletic, Berhampore, Catholic, A.Mramar, D.1.C., Kirkcaldie and Stains, Police, and Johnsonyillo (the last-named being accepted conditionally on town matches being played). There are now 23 clubs affiliated the association. Eleven wickets have been arranged for, and possibly more, will bs available later. The first meeting" of the new Management Committee will be held this evening, when fixtures for Saturday will be arranged.
