. THE CRYSTALATE CUP PLAT. ' Entries closed for tho Alcock Crystalate Cup tournament with thirteen players, who comprise some of the best cueists in Wellington. The draw for the first round is as follows:— .Monday evening, October 21—At 7.15, A. Wakeham v. H. Hume. At D p.m.-, J. Hamilton v. F. Farrell. Tuesday—At 7.15, A. Oohon r. Keys. At 9 p.m., J. G. Godwin v. H. J. Crichton. Wednesday—B p.m., G. Owtes v. E. W. Warren. Messrs. Asher, Cairns, and Fordham drew byes. The draw for tho second round will take place after tho game on Wednesday evening. A specially-erected Alcocfe standard match pocket table and crystalate balls are features that should make for excellent displays of billiards. The games nre 300' up level, with a final of 500 points, the winner getting a handsome gold mednl, while the club represented will hold the cup for one year. Admission is by invitation, and cards can be obtained at the showrooms of Messrs. Alcock and Co., Ltd., Baker's Buildings, Featherston -Street.
