A large quantity of implements, sundries, and the whole of the household furniture sold at highest market rates. • The Kcw Zealand- Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report:—At Palmerston North, on Thursday, wo had a good entry of sheep and cattle, and have to report a total clearance. Bidding was i ! ,r * s j? throughout the sale, and prices were in favour of vendors. Sheep; Fat and forward wethers, 19s. 7d.; fat ewes, 18s. 4d.; fat shorn ewes, 13s. 9d.; medium hoggets, 12s. 6d. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday a fair entry of cattle was offered, and sales wero effected at the following quotations, only a few pens of cheep coming forward:— Forward bullocks, £7 to. £7 55.; forward cows, £3 15s. to £4 125.; store cows. £2 ss. to £3; cows and calves, £4 35.; springing cows, £6 to £8; heifers in calf, £4 ss. to £5; cwc-3j with small percentage of lambs, lis. lOd.
