Gd. to 176. 6d. case; pineapples, 20s. to 2is. rass; passion fruit, Bs. to Ms. per quarter-case, according to condition; Tasmanian apples (choice dessert), 10s. to lis. Gd. per case; hothouse tomatoes, Is. Id. to Is. 6d. per lb.; cucumbers, is. 6d. to 9s. per dozen; French beans, BSd. to 9d. per lb.; asparagus, sd. to Is. 3d. per bundle, according to size; goosetorries, (id. per lb. Vegetable prices were:—Choice cabbage, 9d. to 14s. per sack; others, 5?. to 7s. Gd.; choice cauliflowers, 10s. to 10s.
