OPINION OT? VETERAN'S MEETING. (lly TolcsraDli—Press Association.) Palmerston, October 18. The Manawatu branch of the New Zealand Veterans' Association passed a resolution to-night expressing the opinion that the restrictions of the Military Pensions Bill, rendering it practically an old age pension, should be struck out, as the veterans did not claim it as paupers, but for. services rendered.
