Mr. R. A. M'Kenzie's annual cattle fair will bo held at Palmerston North on Tuesday. October 22, when 3600 head of ■well-bred cattle will be offered. As in the past, all lines of yoiinjt cattle and female sorts will bo sold without reserve, and the grown cattle protected only by a very Mi; r ht reserve. The cuttle will bo drafted according to age and breed, and olfoted in lots to suit buyers. The fate will start at>12.45 p.m. sharp, and will Ijo conducted by the Xev; Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.. and Reduced, and Messrs. Dalgetv and Co., Ltd., in conjunction. The Countess of Liverpool says: "I always use M'Clinton's Soap and recommend it. Everyone is delighted with it." 11 1 Messrs. Robert Pearson and Co. have a epecial advertisement in reference to their sale of men's boots, whHi is to ha held to-day.
