Paxton, the Chamber of Commerce delegate to the London Convention, who has returned; states that he had an interview with, the King, who expressed, his regret at Lord Demnan's eviction from Sydney Government House, and asked tho reason, and where tho Governor-General would resido in Sydney. His Majesty added that it was quite clear that the Governor-General could not live in a hotel.
