CANADIAN NAVAL POLICY.
ITS REVERSAL PREDICTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Kec. October 17, 9.15 p.m.) Ottawa, October 17. The French-Canadian press at Montreal forecasts that the Borden Government's naval policy will be as follows;— The repeal of tho Lanricr policy, the return of the Canadian cruisers to England, and the making of on emergency gift of to England. A referendum will precede tho announcement of a permanent naval policy. Subsequently a demand will bo made for tho representation of the Dominions in tho Empire's counsels.
