f Amongst the local dairy farmers who have installed milking machines recently are Messrs. JI. Moynihan, Smith Bros., and Coker Bros. Mr. R. G. Wall severs his connection with tho firm of Vcitch and Allan at tho end of this month to go in for dairyfarming at Ohau. Tho Methodist Church's Sunshine Club held a sale of work in the Druids' Hall on | Tuesday night. Mrs. S. W. Carter organ- ; ised and conducted this sewing class. Tho Hon. Mr. G. Fowlds will address a public meeting here on Monday night. The Presbyterian Church is holding a promenade concert and tea on Friday night in the Druids' Hall in aid of the Manse funds. . ■ Mr. J. Ilallam, with a hnndican of 2, was first in the competition on the* rifle range last Saturday.
