PROPOSED ALTERATIONS.
The Military Pensions Bill has been subjected to some critioism outside Par. liamenc. Its prospects of reaching tha Statute Boole this session were for a tim# imperilled, but the Government lias de. cidou to proceed with its proposals. Objections were mado to the clauses limiting the property to bo held by applicant! for pensions, nnd these sections will bo modified 'by "the Government when tha Bill is iu Committee.
