HEGAR.TY KNOCKS OUT BURNS. (By Telegraph.—PreSß Association.) Christchurch, October 15. Jas. Hegarty (Timarn) and Theo. Burns (Australia) wore to have met to decide the feather-weight boxing championship of New Zealand to-night, and a purse of .£SO, but both were over-weigh,!. They, however, boxed for .(lie purse, with tlie result that Hegarty knocked out Burns iu the fifth round.
