The article from, the San Francisco "Chroniclo" discussing the probability of the United States having to resor.tto the importation of frozen meat, which appeared in this column yesterday morning, is given some additional interest by tho fact that it had been forwarded to the chairman of tho Associated North Island Freezing Companies (Mr. W. G. Foster), bv Mr. C. S. Adams, who was the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce delegate to Australia and New Zealand. In a letter' to ' Mr. ' Foster, Mr. Adams describes,tho "Chronicle" as the strongest 'protectionist paper in the States. It is stated that the whole of the butter space for Vancouver has already bucn booked for the season.
