LIGHT CARS FOE THE NOVEMBER SHOW DISPLAY. In the absence of a periodical motor show, such as is held iu older countries, we in Canterbury look forward to the November Metropolitan Show as the place where the latest' and most uri-to-ilate de : velopments of tlio automobile * industry will be first displayed. Messrs. Adams Limited are at present receiving delivery of tho cars which will figure prominently in their show exhibition, and it has been decided that the light cars, which hnvo suddenly gained such enormous popularity, shall bo the principal exhibit on the Adams' stand. Prominent among these light, moderate-priced cars will bo the dainty but tremendously sturdy 2-seater, ■1-cylinder, 11-15 h.p. Humber, a'car whoso finish in every detail is superb, which has a silent, simple, and powerful engine, and which has proved itself the speediest car of its class as well as being a first-class hill-climber. The 2-seater Hunlber sells in England at ,£270, and the 4-seater model at ,£235, including acetylene and electric lamps, detachable ivire wheels, hood and wind-shield. Tho two-seater 8-12 h.p. car 'sells in Paris at 4JIBG, and tho 10-15 h.p. chassis, with its beautifully simple mechanism, soils in Paris, less tyres, for .£2lO.
