LIGHT CARS FOR THE NOVEMBER SHOW DISPLAY.
In the absence of a periodical motor show, such as is hold in older countries, we in Canterbury look forward to the November Metropolitan Show as the place where the latest and most up-to-date developments of the automobile industry will be first displayed. Messrs. Adains Limited are at. present receiving delivery of the cars whicn will figure prominently in their show exhibition, and it has been decided that the light cars, which havo suddenly gained such enormous popularity, shall be the principal exhibit on the Adams' stand. Prominent among these light, moderate-priced cars will be the dainty but tremendously sturdy 2-seater, 4-cylindcr, 11-15 h.p. Humber, a car whose finish in every detail is superb, which has a silent, simple, and powerful engine, and which has proved itself the speediest cor of its class as well as being n first-class hill-climber. The 2-seater Humber soils in England at £270, and the 4-seator model at <£285, including acetylene and electric lamps, detachable wire wheels, hood und wind-shield. To the English price Adams Limited add only the cost of importation. Then there are the "French Talbots," the Clement-Bayard light cars, represented by tho beautiful little 2-seater, 4-cylinder, 8-12 h.p. car, a wonder for its. engine powej:, and embodying many improvements which make for the lessening of the driver's troubles, and the 10.15 h.p. new 4-cylinder light Clement-Bayard chassis.
