Y.W.C.A. NOTES
Mr. J. C. Tennant, M.A., B.Sc, principl of the Wellington Training College, is to givo a lantern lecture this evening in the Y.W.C.A. Dooms on "Our Beautiful New Zealand Flowers;" Such a subject should be attractive to a large number of people, and the address will be open bo the public at the small cost of sixpence as entrance fee. . ' The sum raised by tho Xhristchurch Y.W.C.A. building , campaign amounted on Thursday to .£5960, and latest advices stated that money was still steadily flowing in, but tho exact sum was not yet available. Miss Helen Barnes, national secretary for Australasia, the leading spirit in this campaign, arrived in Wellington yesterday, en route for Sydney. A luncheon party was arranged in her honour at Miss Tcndall's tea rooms. It included mem-
bers of the General Council and the gentlemen of the Board of Advisers.
