POLICE INSPECTOR'S END. By TeleeraDh—Press Association—Copyright London, October 10. Inspector Wallis, of tho Eastbourne police force, has been shot dead by a' burglar. The police received a telephone messago from Countess Sztaray's house, stating that'burglars were on the premises. Inspector Wallis went to capture them, and was shot dead by ono of tho burglars, who succeeded in effecting their escape.
