Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report on their Waikanac sale, held yesterday, tu follows:—Wo had good yarding.-- of both sheep and cattle, which we submitted to a large aHemlnnce of buyers, and toltl practically the whole yarding under the hnmwer at the following prices:-. Sheep: Ewes, with lambs at foot, to Ms. 6d.; fat ewes, to 20s. 4d.; store wethers, to 17s. 6d.; cull hoggets, to 7h. 3d.; cull ewes, to (•. "HI. Cattle: Yearling heifers £" 17s. 6il. to £3 5=.: yearling stews, io £3 Is.; springing heifers, £5, £6 75., to £7 3s. 6d.; two-year steer..-. £4 17s. 6.1. to £5; empty hcifci>, £3 10s. to £4 10s.; cows and oalvos, £3 10s. to .£7 55.; dairy cows, in milk, £3 10s., £4 ■Is., to £5; fat cows, to £5. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd.. and-reduced, report:—We held our monthly Waikannc pale yesterday, when we offered a fair entry of both sheep and cattle to a. big attendance of buyers, and, under tho hammer avd privately afterwards, we disposed of the bulk of our yarding at prices satisfactory to vendors.
