—— »' THE ANNUAL SHOW. , Judging "by'the success that, attended last year's fixture, the Wanganui Kennel Club's show,-which-is to.be held - in"con r junction with'the Wangahai,.agriciilturai show on November 13 and 14,' should, be one of the leading dog shows .of. the- year.- 1 The shed in which the-dogs .willbe'hoilsed is large and commodious, artd complete with appointments. The- attendants engaged to care for the.exhibits,art-experi : cnced in. their duties,'and exhibitors' can rest assured that their dogs will. be. well and properly fed, groomed, and exercised while in the club's charge,. The'schedule is a most comprehensive one, -consisting of 45!) classes. In addition to the' club's awards, there are some GO special prizes, including some very ' valuable trophies. Unfortunately the Fox Teuier Club's special challenge trophy was omitted from the programme. This is given for the best fox terrier, wire Or smooth-haired dog or hitch, and. is to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals. I.asl year it was_ secured for the first time bv Mr. C.
