ENGINE FAILS TO TAKE POINTS. By Teleeraph—Press Aesociation-CoDrrieht New York, October i. Further details received in connection with the train disaster at Westport, Connecticut,' show that eight persons, including five women, were killed. The engine failed to take the points, and was overturned. Art explosion followed. The coaches caught fire, but the passengers escaped without sustaining burns.
