TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Specially written for Tub Dominion.] 51 OX DAY. Vegetable soup. Irish stew. Spinach. Orange custard pudding. Stewed fruit. ORANGE CUSTAItD PUDDING. One pint milk, 2osk. sugar, 2 eggs, grated rind of 1 orange. Boil the milk, add to it the eggs beaten, also the. sugar and orange rind. Pour into a greased pic-dish; stand it in another dish containing some water. Bake in a very slow oven until set. When cold cover with castor sugar, put under a gas grill, and brown the top. Serve cold. FOB TO-SIOBKOW. Half-pint split l>eas (soaked overnight). Leg of mutton. Bacon. Cabbage. Snct.
