Bd.; good ditto, to 15s. 3d.; store ewes. 9s. 11(1.; forward ewe.;, to 14s. 7d.; ewes with lambs, 15s. lid. to 17s. 6d.; fat ewes, light to 17s. 2d.; yearling dairy heifers, £3 lis., £3 12s. Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Limited, Palmcrston North, report having a good yarding of cattle at their Pnlmerston .North sals on Thursday:—Store cows; £2 10s.; forward cows, to £4 45.; yearling to 18-month dairy heifers, £3 95., £3 14s. 6d., £3 17s. 6d., to £4; small yearling dairy heifers, to £2 17s. t'd. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmcrston North, on Thursday, a good entry of cattle met with liesn competition, and very few lots went out unsold. Only a. few pen* of sheep came forward.
