CHINESE PIRATES.
A'FIGIW AT MACAO. By Telccranli-Press Association-Copyrielit. (Rec. October 4, 10.35 p.m.) Lisbon, October 4. Advices received from tho Portuguese colony of Macao, on the Chinese coast, state that 300 European soldiers and Chinese troops, by a simultaneous attack, defeated a force of Chinese pirates at an island stronghold on the coast near Macao.
