EXPRESS TRAIN WRECKED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Gopxrfehl (Roc. Ootobcr I, 9.10 p.m.) Washington, October 4. An express train has been wrecked at Westport, Connecticut. A parlour-car overturned, and four other parlour-cars caught firo and were destroyed. Eight bodies havo been extricated from tho wreckage. It is believed that tho victims were roasted alive. The cause of the accident is not known. STREET-CAR OVERTURNS. New York, October 4, Two persons were killed and fifty-five injured in a street-car accident in Pittsburg. Tho car, which was laden with passengers, ■ became uncontrollable, and ran off the line. It overturned on approaching a corner, and was wrecked.
