♦ : TO DEFEAT RAILWAY STRIKE. Er Telcerapa—Press Association—Oorrrisht (Eec. October 4, 10.35 p.m.) . Madrid, Ootober 4. Tho Government is rapidly mobilising the army reserves in order to replace the railwaymen, who have decided to call a national strike. It is estimated that by this means the Government will have 4000 skilled railwaymen" available for service.
