NEW ZEALAND CADETS.
SUCCESS AT VANCOUVER. A statement regarding the success of tho New Zealand cadets now visiting Canada was made by the Minister for Defence in the House, of Representative? vestcrday afternoon. Mr. Allen said that ho had received a cablegram from the New Zealand Agent at Vaucouvor stating that tho New Zealand troop had now six champion cups out of 6even, and so far as tho code messa,j6 could be understood somo other cups, and had secured fourth placo in shooting. "It will bo very gratifying to tho House and to New Zealand generally," Mr.. Allen remarked, "to know that our budding manhood has been able to competo with the budding manhood of other parts of the world, and come out so sue-. Icessfnlly. (Members: Hear, hear!) It justifies us in sending tho cadets and in sending the extra number."
