(From Our Special Correspondents.) j « < OTAKI. | The annual general meting of the Horo- < wheinia A. and f„ Association was held < on Wednesday afternoon, Mr. John Kcb- ( bell (president) presiding. The following ( report and balance-sheet was read and < adopted:—The income of the association shows but little increase, and somo effort must be made during the current year to obtain more members anil donations. This is needed on account of the liability duo to the bank, amounting to .£99 17,-. 4-d., and which has been guaranteed by several members. Against this amount a sum of •iifl is due 011 account of members' subscriptions, donations and fees. ; Each year it is necessary to add further accommodation regarding pens, etc. During 1911 large expenditure had to be made in tb« pig department, and ■this year (1912) somo CO extra pens had to be provided for sheep classes.. The question of grounds (should the X'ark Company decide to sell their land) will no doubt come up again for discussion.
