THE BILLIARD SALOON. | At the Magistrate's Court yesterdaj Architiald M'Naughton vras charged with having been disorderly while drunk, with having resisted arrest, and with having used certain language. Sub-Inspector Sheehan - said that M'Naughton had'been concerned in some troublo which had taken place in a billiard saloon, and that durin? a scuffle M'Naughton, who was a hairdresser, had drawn a razor. M'Naughton was fined *K>, in default five weeks' imprisonment. OTHER CASES, John Wheelan was remanded for a week's medical treatment. He was said to have been found in a bad state bf'inebriety at Titahi Boy. A prohibition order was issued against Sarah Surrell. For their failure to attend military drills, Charles Henry Tucker was fined .£l, with costs £1 Is.; James Arthur Staples, Walter Harold Macey, Cyril Jeffries, Stanley John Friis, 55., with costs 75.; William Charles .Whittiiigton, 55., with costs 145.; Arthur Reginald Beavis was ordered to pay costs lis.; and Kiley Charles Coffey, John Herbert Jonos, Samuel Robertson Murray, and Frank. Pettingill wero ordered to pay costs 7s.'' Edmond James Dennehy was fined 53., with costs 75., as the'person responsible for the care of a chimney which caught fire. ,
