MOLESWORTH ST. METHODIST CHURCH.

» A SUCCESSFUL ANNIVERSARY. The Sunday School anniversary services in coniipcliqii with tho Ifoleswnrth Street Methodist Church were held on Sunday Inst, the preachers being the Revs. .1. G. Chapman, I'. J. Cossum, and G. f>. Conk. There were large congregations, Iho church being crowded nt the evening service.

In connection with the anniversary, a reunion of old scholars was held on Wednesday in the schoolroom, at G p.m. This was largely attended, and proved a most enjoyable gathering, old acquaintances being rentwed, and reminiscences exchanged 'round the tea-table. The Rev. G. S. Cook presided, and the following 'old scholars .spolw in response to the address of welcome, viz., Mrs. Huntingdon, and Messrs. 11. .T. Thompson, J., W. Hall, L. Jenkins, and E. Boyd. Mr. Haddon, superintendent of Sydney Street Primitive Methodist School, also spoke. At 7.30.p.m. the children's anniversary concert was held, when the buildinjr was again filled with an appreciative audience. Anniversary songs were rendered by the children and choir, also dialogues, for which the children lnd been trained by Miss LoaUbettor. Recitations were contributed by Loriia .Snow, Winnio Peiors, 'iyrtle fionniagt'on, and Morlcy Moxliam, and addresses were given by the. Rev. G. S. Cook and the Sunday-'School superintendent. Jlr. T. Sims. The singing of ihe children, trained by Mr. Sims, was very much appreciated. Altogether, this anniversary is ihe mostsuccessful the school has had in recant years. ■ /
