Business is very dull, though the improvements at New Big River, the erection of a winzing plant and new machinery, mean business. A goo:l deal of private prospecting is being;-done, nnd f-ome few men nro gully-raking with fair returns. Tho country prospects, thanks to the increase in settlement nil round, is very bright. Tho Cronadon Dairy Factory has reopened, and tho growth i( good.
