'Yearling heifers .sold from £2. 17s. to £3 Its.; yearling stcere, £3 to £3' 10s.; 2-year empty heifers, £4 lCs.;'.springing- cows, to £7 Is. A line of wethers' fetched 2Cs. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency and Keduced, report:—At Kangiotu, on Monday, wo had a. heavy entry of cattle, which met with keen demand, resulting in every pen, but- one being Quitted. Owing to flood-water several of. sheep , and ' cattle did'not come forward. /Quotations:—Sheep: Medium hocKets, 13s. Id.; inferior ewes and lambs, 14s. 6d. Cattle: Small yearling heifers, £2 6s. to £2 19s. 6d.; medium yearling hsifers, £3 53. to £3 7s.' 6d.; for a line of 131 well--growu good quality yearling heifers, £4 Is.; 2-year Heifers, £4 to £4 IDs.; small mixed yearlings. 3Cs. to £2 65.: yearling steers (good), £3 11s. 6d.; store cows, £2 ?e. to £2 17s. 6d.; forward cows, £3. 65.; light fat ■cows,-£4.165.-to £5; cows.in milk, £3 15s. to. £6 155.; springing cows, -£5 to £8 ss.
