TURKISH TROOPS LANDED. By Telegraph—Press Association—CoDyricht Athens, September 30: An Italian ship endeavoured to prevent the Turks from landing troops at Samos. A French cruissr informed the' Italian commander. that Italy was not entitled to interfere in Samos. The Samians resisted the Turkish landing and killed several Turks. ' . Turkish soldiers outraged two Samian girls after murdering their father. FRANCO-BRITISH ACTION.' Athens, October 1. Pending the decision of tho Powers with regard to Samos, the British and French flags have been hoisted at Uathy and tho warships have landed patrols.
