Tho Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held its fortnightly Fleeting yesterday afternoon. A discussion took'place regarding alleged cruelty to cittlo at railway stations, a cpse in which tome trucked cattle were left standing at a-station in the vicinity of AVelliiutoii for two days without food or water 'was considered. The discussion embraced the probable liability of the consignor, the consignee, and the railway authorities. ■ ' The Hon. F. H.
