TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Specially written for The Dominion.] AVEDNESDAY. Spinach soup. Dressed steaks. Potatoes. Cauliflower. Pancakes. DRESSED STEAKS. One and a half pounds thin steak, 1 good-sized onion, salt and pepper, loz. butter, loz. flour, J pint stock, 1 dessertspoonful mushroom ketchup. Divide the steak into pieces aboifT 3! inches by 2, sprinkle each with mince'd onion, salt, and pepper, roll up and fasten with small skewers. Heat the butter in a saucepan, try in it tho beef quickly until browned. Remove the steak; fry the remainder of the onion and the flour, and add the flock and mushroom ketchup. Put in the, steaks again, and simmer very slowly for one hour or more. Dish the steaks and strain over the gravy. FOR TO-MORROAV. Macaroni. Stock. Shoulder of mutton. Onion. Cabbage. Rhubarb. Fastrv. Cream.
