GOOD ADVICE FOR RHEUMATICS.

Treatment Needed to Cure the '■' Cause of the Trouble. ''';

A Man who was Cured of a Severe Attack Points the Way to Other Sufferers.

It is good advice.for those who suffer from Rheumatism to tell them that the only treatment that can really cure them is treatment that attacks the cause of Rheumatism. The pain and swelling is only a symptom of the complaint, and surface treatment with liniments does not roach the cause. Dr. Williams' Pink Bills Ihaye cured hundreds of cases of Rheumatism. They form the most direct treatment of • the complaint because they enrich the thin blcoil, tone the-system, and enable it to throw off the poisons of the disease. When this is done, the Rheumatism is; permanently cured, nud as long'ps the .blood is kept rich and pure, the patient should not have further attacks. ' ■ ■ . '' ■

The case of Mr. John Dempscy, of Kalgcorlie, W.A.,'well known as the proprietor of the Broken Hill Cordial Vactory, in Hannan Street, is' an excellent illustration of how these ' pills cure, Mr. Dempscy said :— ' ■ "Some time ago I noticed a deadly pain settling in my hips. In my occupation I am continually 'getting Wet, so perhaps that was out of tho cause*. From my hip it spread down the whole of my right leg. My knee was affected -and got; terribly swollen, as did also the ankle and the instep. I kept ou working for six weeks, though I was!not fit to work and it was agony all the time, and at last I had to take to bed for a fortnight. If I had to cross over a kerb I would have to lift, my knee with both hands. At night I would like to- ride home, but the shaking of the cart gave me such agony I decided to walk, and used to just hop or hobble home. I got worse and worse, arid the pains would come on in spasms, and the spasms got more severe and more frequent till nt last I was suffering coriliuuo.uslv. It was agony to piill a boot on or take it off, and owing to the, swell-' ing I could not lace-a boot. The.skin on the knees got quite doughy. I was rubbed with all sorts of liniments, bottles of eucalyptus, anything. I heard of and got no cure. I had cloths dipped in boiling water clapped on as hot as could be boriie, hot enough to -blister , the skin. I dreaded going to-bed. I nevn , closrd my eyes till morning broke arid I was fairly exhausted. The agony all ni'ht was dreadful, I lay on my back and couldn't turn if I had been paid. In-the last fcrl--night I had to be turned in bed every lime I wanted a change of position, it was impossible for me to do it by myself. 1 could only-lie and groan with the pain; I was practically helpless. ' I thought I was done for good. Hearing one day that Dr. Williams' Pink Pills had cured another patient of rheumatism 1 sent for a-box. I started off with nine pills each day. That first box took mo out of bed ami put me to work again. • I could hardly credit such a thing in myself. I felt the pain leaving the hip. going right down the leg. and passing out. at the toes till it disappeared completely. After I had finished the second box not a pain was left, but later on I took two more for fear of a relapse. I have been known nil over this district for years, and have, recommended this medicine fur aud wide. Dr. Williams' Pink Pills are sold by .ill dealers, but if in doubt, send to the Dr. Williams' Medicine Co. of Austrnlava. Ltd.. Wellington. 3i. oil? box,- six boxes 11K Cd.-Advt.
