DICKENS COSTUME FESTIVAL
Satisfactory rehearsals wore held yesterday and last night in connection with tho scenes and sketches for to-morrow night's Dickons' Festival at. (he large Town Hall, and the final rehearsals will take place to-night. In addition to tho programme already announced, Miss Rita Lyons, soprano," has been specially engaged to contribute musical numbers. The remainder of the artists, including Mr. _ Alan M'Elwnin, a popular comedian, will arrive in Wellington to-day. The scats are being freely booked, and intending patrons are asked to bonk their seats, so as to avoid disappointment, as was the ease at Auckland when hundreds had to Be turned away.
