London, September 30. The death is announced of tho Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Frederick William Ricli- . ards, who served on the Australian Station in the early 'fifties. [Tho deceased Admiral was barn iu 1833. and reached Hag rank in 1882. Ho served in the Zulu and Boer Wars of 1879, and in tho Burma campaign of ISSS. He was at different times iu command on the East Indies, Cane of Good Hope, and China Stations, and served three terms as a Lord of tho Admiralty.!
