Griffith), referring to railway extension,'said he was going to be as extravagant as the Treasurer would allow him to be. The loan— 'perhaps two or three'loans—would not be TaiSed in Australia; it was not destred to deplete the local money market. So long as the money borrowed paid interest and working expenses it did not matter how •Touch was raised.
