He then rushed into the street, and wounded three pursuers, ono seriously. Tho man was arrested. (Rec. September 20, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 28. The man who ran amuck in Tottenham Court Road was named Stephen Titus. He is apparently an Armenian and a man of means. Seeing the barmaid speaking to somo men, Titus commenced an altercation and shot the manageress of the hotel dead and seriously wounded the barmaid. He reloaded his revolver in the street and held the crowd at bay. Before lie way captured, Titus shot a newsboy and two other persons. }lc was only secured after a severe struggle.
