SOLDIERS SHOOT DOWN STRIKERS.

After serious rioting at Augusta, Georjia,.. in which two people were killed, martial law was proclaimed. The strike led to disorders and attacks on the street railway cars, and the soldiers established a dead line, forbidding the strikers to cross it, in consequence of a report that the electric power works wcro in danger of being dynamited. A number of the strikers crossed the line, and the soldiers riddled them with bullets.. There is great excitement in the town.
