The terms' arrived at 3 are a forty-eight-hour working week; ovcr--3 time, time and a half, except the time , occupied in getting np steam; the observj ance of the usual clause'with respect to , payment for ordinary time in case of , breakdowns of machinery; observance of I the usual holidays kept by factories. A number of exemptions "up. ' plied for were referred to the Court. Tho _ preference clause in the Carpenters' ami j Joiners' Award was agreed to.
