Tho evidence of ono of the: boys who ' was with Plumridgo on September']. l ) was , to the effect that ho was with Plumridgo i when ho bought 25 cartridges, about noon ! on September 14. i The Coroner .-asked Soman, if. ho told • the truth as to not having lentpr promis- | ed to lend the gun to Plumridgo, and Soi man stoutly averred that ho had told tho truth. The Coroner informed the itolico that ' that was as far as he could go, but of course if they got further evidence they \ would possibly prosecute Soman. A. verdict was recorded according to I medical testimony, that deceased died , from a gunshot wound accidentally re- , ceived.
