ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
HAND AMPUTATED. Frederick Haylock, a middle-aged wan, had his hand amputated in tho Public Hospital yesterday, as tho result of an accident which ho sustained at Neilson, Murray,' and Frederic's engineering works in Bevans Street. Haylock was in- the act of taking a belt over a moving wheel wlies his left hand was caught in somo cogs, and was badly injured.
